Service Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client") and Personal Chef Ana ("we," "us," or "our") regarding the use of our personal chef services. By booking our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Service Description and Scope
Personal Chef Services Offered
Meal Preparation Services
- • Meal Prep Service — weekly, bi-weekly, or by request
- • 3–5 hours per session (varies by menu complexity)
- • Custom menu planning included
Special Event Services
- • Private dinner parties
- • Birthday and milestone celebrations
- • Anniversary dinners
- • Corporate events and catering (up to 100+ guests)
Service Staffing: Some services may be performed by vetted independent contractors working under the direct supervision and standards of Personal Chef Ana LLC. All contractors are bound by confidentiality agreements and hold required food safety certifications.
Service Rates and Pricing
Meal Prep Service
Starting at $600 per visit (chef service fee)
The service fee may be higher for menus with specific food restrictions or ingredient limitations (such as gluten-free, allergen-free, or other specialized requirements) due to the additional planning and preparation complexity involved.
Includes: Menu planning, grocery shopping, cooking, and kitchen cleanup
Private Chef & Event Services
Rate: $1,500 - from $2,000 flat rate
Up to 3 guests: $1,500
4–10 guests: $2,000
10+ guests: from $2,000
Sales Tax: All chef service fees are subject to applicable Texas state sales tax, which will be added to your invoice as required by law.
Groceries & Consumable Supplies: Ingredients and any single-use or client-specific supplies (such as foil, parchment, or specialty packaging purchased exclusively for your order) are billed at exact cost with receipts provided — no markup. These items are either fully consumed during service or left with the client. Grocery reimbursements are not subject to additional sales tax as they represent a direct pass-through of costs, not a taxable service charge.
Rate Changes: For existing clients with active service agreements, rates may be updated with 30 days' written notice. New clients are quoted the current rate at the time of booking.
Service Limitations
We Do Not Provide:
- • Events exclusively for minors without adult hosts present
- • Wedding catering or large wedding receptions
- • Food service outside our designated service area without prior arrangement
- • Service without proper kitchen facilities
Service Area Restrictions:
Services are provided within our primary service area including Houston, The Woodlands, Spring, Conroe, Katy, Sugar Land, Pearland, Cypress, and Magnolia. Additional travel fees may apply for locations outside these areas. Contact us to discuss your location.
Booking and Payment Terms
Booking Process
Advance Booking Requirements:
- • Meal Prep Service: Minimum 1 week advance notice
- • Special Events (up to 20 guests): Minimum 1-2 weeks advance notice
- • Custom Event Catering (20–100+ guests): Minimum 2-4 weeks advance notice
- • Holiday Services: Minimum 6-8 weeks advance notice
Booking Confirmation:
Services are confirmed only upon receipt of signed service agreement and required deposit. Verbal confirmations are not binding.

- • Regular Services: 50% deposit required
- • Special Events: 50% deposit required
- • Holiday Services: 100% payment required in advance

Additional Costs:

Invoicing and Payment Schedule
Final Payment: Due upon completion of service or as agreed in writing.
Late Payment: 1.5% monthly service charge applies to overdue amounts after 30 days.
Receipts: All ingredient receipts provided within 24 hours of service completion.

Full refund of deposit minus processing fees

50% deposit retention fee

Unreachable Client Policy
We understand that schedules change, but timely communication is essential for our team to plan and shop for your service. If we are unable to reach you prior to a confirmed appointment:
- • If the Client cannot be reached within 2 hours prior to the scheduled service time to confirm access or finalize details, Personal Chef Ana LLC reserves the right to cancel the visit.
- • In this case, the visit will be treated as a late cancellation and the full service fee will be retained.
- • We will make at least two contact attempts (call + text or WhatsApp) before exercising this right.
Rescheduling Policy
Free Rescheduling: Available with 72+ hours notice, subject to availability.
Short Notice Rescheduling: $100 administrative fee for changes within 48–72 hours.
Same-Day Changes: Not permitted due to ingredient purchasing and preparation requirements.
Emergency and Weather Cancellations
Weather-Related: Services may be cancelled for severe weather conditions. Full refund or rescheduling offered.
Client Emergency: Medical emergencies or family crises may qualify for modified cancellation terms at our discretion.
Chef Illness: If the chef or assigned contractor is unable to provide service due to illness, a full refund or rescheduling will be offered.
Client Responsibilities
Kitchen Access and Facilities
Required Kitchen Equipment
- • Functioning stove/cooktop and oven
- • Refrigerator and freezer space
- • Basic cookware and bakeware
- • Adequate counter space for preparation
- • Access to running water and sink
- • Basic utensils and serving dishes
Client Obligations
- • Ensure clean kitchen before service
- • Provide unobstructed access to kitchen
- • Clear counter and refrigerator space
- • Ensure all appliances are in working order
- • Provide parking accommodation
- • Maintain safe working environment
Arrival Policy
Our team's schedule is carefully planned around confirmed appointments to ensure every client receives our full attention and best service.
If the Client is not present or accessible at the agreed service location within 25 minutes of the scheduled start time, Personal Chef Ana LLC reserves the right to treat the visit as a same-day cancellation. The full service fee will apply.
Information and Communication Requirements
Required Information:
- • Complete and accurate dietary restrictions and food allergies
- • Guest count and any changes to numbers
- • Kitchen layout and equipment availability
- • Access instructions and security codes if applicable
- • Emergency contact information
Communication Requirements:
- • Respond to chef communications within 24 hours
- • Confirm service details 48 hours in advance
- • Notify of any changes immediately via phone, text, or WhatsApp
- • Provide alternative contact if unavailable on service day
Property and Equipment
Equipment Care: Client is responsible for any damage to personal property or equipment caused by normal wear and tear. Chef is responsible for damage due to negligence.
Property Access: Client grants permission for chef and assigned service contractor to access property during agreed service hours.
Storage: Client provides adequate refrigerator and pantry space for ingredients and prepared meals.
Food Safety and Allergen Management
Food Allergy and Safety Responsibility
Critical Notice: Client must provide complete and accurate information about all food allergies, dietary restrictions, and medical dietary requirements. Failure to disclose allergies may result in serious health consequences.
Client Responsibilities:
- • Disclose all food allergies and sensitivities
- • Provide written list of restricted ingredients
- • Update allergy information if changes occur
- • Have emergency medication available if needed
Chef Responsibilities:
- • Follow all disclosed dietary restrictions
- • Use separate preparation areas when possible
- • Check all ingredient labels carefully
- • Maintain detailed preparation notes
Food Safety Standards

- • Current food handler's certification required for all service staff
- • HACCP food safety principles
- • Proper temperature control protocols
- • Cross-contamination prevention
- • Sanitation and hygiene standards
Ingredient Sourcing
- • Fresh, high-quality ingredients
- • Reputable supplier relationships
- • Proper storage and transportation
- • Expiration date monitoring
- • Organic options when requested
Meal Storage and Consumption
Storage Instructions: Prepared meals must be properly refrigerated within 2 hours of preparation and consumed within recommended timeframes.
Reheating Guidelines: Detailed reheating instructions provided for all prepared meals to ensure food safety.
Shelf Life: Client assumes responsibility for proper storage and consumption of prepared meals within recommended timeframes.
Limitation of Liability
Service Limitations
Liability Cap:
Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including but not limited to lost profits, business interruption, or personal injury not directly caused by our negligence.
Property Damage:
We assume responsibility for damage to client property only when caused by our negligence or that of our contractors. Normal wear and tear of kitchen equipment is not covered.
Disclaimer of Warranties
While we strive for excellence in every service, meals and culinary experiences are provided "as is." Individual results may vary based on client kitchen facilities, ingredient availability, and other factors outside our control.
We do not guarantee specific health outcomes from our meal preparation services. Clients with medical dietary needs should consult with their healthcare provider.
Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government actions, labor disputes, or public health emergencies.
Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
Resolution Process
Step 1: Direct Communication
All disputes should first be addressed through direct communication. Contact us at (346) 218-3912 or ana@personalchefana.com.
Step 2: Formal Written Notice
If direct communication does not resolve the issue, provide written notice describing the dispute within 30 days of the service date.
Step 3: Mediation
Unresolved disputes may be submitted to mediation through a mutually agreed mediator in Harris County, Texas.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
Governing Law: This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
Jurisdiction: Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in Harris County, Texas.
Venue: Both parties consent to the jurisdiction and venue of Harris County courts.
Time Limitations
Complaint Period: All complaints must be submitted within 30 days of service completion.
Legal Action: Any legal action must be commenced within one (1) year of the dispute arising.
Documentation: Client must maintain all relevant documentation for dispute resolution purposes.
Intellectual Property and Privacy
Recipe and Method Protection
Proprietary Recipes: All recipes, cooking methods, and techniques remain the intellectual property of Personal Chef Ana.
Confidentiality: Client agrees not to reproduce, distribute, or commercially use any proprietary recipes or methods.
Photography: Client may photograph prepared meals for personal use. Commercial use of food photographs requires prior written consent from Personal Chef Ana.
Content Ownership
Food Photography: All photographs and videos of food, dishes, plating, and events taken by Personal Chef Ana or its contractors in connection with your service are the sole property of Personal Chef Ana LLC and may be used for marketing purposes.
Client Opt-Out: If you prefer that photos from your service not be used in our marketing materials, please notify us in writing before or at the time of service.
Privacy Protection: We will never publish photos that identify your home, family members, or personal information without your explicit written consent.
SMS Communications Terms
Text Messaging Program
By opting in to receive SMS messages from Personal Chef Ana LLC, you agree to the following terms regarding our text messaging program:
Program Description: We use SMS to send appointment confirmations, service reminders, responses to missed calls, and updates regarding your personal chef or catering bookings.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your service activity and inquiries.
Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-Out (Cancellation): You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to our number. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.
Support/Help: If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword "HELP" for more assistance, or you can get help directly at ana@personalchefana.com or by calling (346) 218-3912.
Privacy: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your privacy is important to us; please review our Privacy Policy to see how we protect your data.
Terms Modifications and Updates
Amendment Process
Written Modifications: These terms may only be modified in writing and signed by both parties for individual service agreements.
General Updates: We reserve the right to update these general terms with 30 days' notice to clients.
Notification: Updates will be communicated via email, website posting, and direct communication during service appointments.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

Complete Agreement: These terms, together with any signed service agreement and our Privacy Policy, constitute the complete agreement between the parties.
